Raised Bands, Blocks & Stencils

Raised bands are created by placing one finish upon another. Commonly horizontally placed, using same finish different colour, tone or shade or different finish but same colour etc. you are able to capture anything from bold prominent bands to rustic ones.

Blocks is a technique used to create the illusion of stone blocks. The effect is realistic that it is normally hard to distinguish between plaster or real stone blocks, the use of stones kicking out at all angles, mortar lines and that each block is applied individually so that the variation of slight tones can be seen just like all those features found in a natural stone wall. This is ultimately the best faux stone effect.

Stencils are the same application method as raised bands but with a high detail level. Company logos or even emblems can be applied to a wall. From a smooth clean cut finish to an old aged chiselled effect.
